H.264 video is a much more efficient codec than what an OGM holds, so at the same visual quality the TS is usually a third to a half of the size.
Extra tracks may not survive
An OGM can carry several audio tracks and subtitle tracks. TS is more limited, so this conversion keeps the main video and the first audio track. If you need the subtitles, save them first with Extract Subtitles.
