Questions
Does adjusting lose quality?
The adjustment itself is arithmetic on the pixels and loses nothing. What costs a little is re-saving into a lossy format afterwards, which is why keeping the original format is the default and the quality is set high.
What does warmth actually change?
It shifts the picture towards orange or blue, which is what "warmer" and "cooler" mean in every photo app. It is an approximation rather than a true colour-temperature conversion, but it is the same approximation your phone uses and it reads the same.
Why does sharpening look strange at high values?
Sharpening does not add detail, it exaggerates the edges that are already there. Past a point that shows as bright halos along contrast boundaries. Twenty to forty per cent suits most photographs; the top of the range is there for images that need rescuing.
Can I adjust a whole folder at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like and the same settings are applied to each.
