Questions
How many images will I get?
At one per second, roughly one for every second of footage. At every frame, twenty-five or more per second, so a one-minute clip produces well over a thousand files. There is a limit setting to stop that surprising you.
PNG or JPG?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly and produces large files. JPG is a fraction of the size and is right when you are extracting hundreds of frames rather than a handful.
Can I get one specific frame?
Yes. Choose the single-frame mode and set the start time to the moment you want.
Why are my frames blurry?
Because that is what the video holds. A frame from fast motion is genuinely blurred in the source, and no extraction can sharpen what was never captured.
