Resize a photo for IBPS

Resize your photo for an IBPS application: JPG, 200 × 230 pixels, between 20 and 50 KB. Free, exact, and nothing is uploaded.

Last updated

IBPS applications take a passport-style colour photo as a JPG of 200 × 230 pixels, between 20 and 50 KB. That is a tight pair of limits: an image this small can land below the floor as easily as above the ceiling. This page crops to the size and lands inside the range.

Two photos, not one

As well as this upload, the application captures a live photo through your webcam or phone during registration. Both are needed, and the one you upload here should be recent and taken against a light background, preferably white.

Why a small photo can be too small

At 200 × 230 pixels a plain portrait can compress under 20 KB even at high quality, and the portal then refuses it for being too small. If that happens here, blank metadata brings the file up to the floor. The picture does not change.

The rest of the set

The same notification asks for a signature, a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration. The signature has its own page here; the others can go through Make It Fit at the limits your notification states.

Where these numbers come from

Checked in October 2026. Rules change with each notification, so the form or notice in front of you always wins.
